Call for Nominations for Executive Committee 2011-2014

Sano Paila invites nominations for its Executive Committee by 7 April 2011.

Sano Paila is pleased to invite nominations for its Executive Committee by 7 April, 2011. Only a member of Sano Paila can participate in the nominating process. You may nominate yourself or a colleague. Only an individual who has been a Member of Sano Paila for at least one year can be nominated as a member of the Executive Committee. New Members whose membership is less than a year can only be nominated by the Executive President.

Nomination is open to any physical person who fulfills the criteria and is willing to help in the continuation of the promotion of the vision of Sano Paila. Sano Paila Members from vulnerable communities Madheshi, Tharu, Dalits, Adivasi, Janajati, women, youth, and physically disabled are highly encouraged for nomination.

Nominations can be filed for the following posts:

Executive President	1
Executive Vice President (Elect)	1
Executive Secretary	1
Executive joint-Secretary	1
Executive Treasurer	1
Executive joint-Treasurer	1
Finance Committee Member	3
Secretariat Member	2
Executive Member	4 or 6

How to Nominate:

A. Nomination Form

Individuals fulfilling the above mentioned conditions and seeking to nominate themselves or nominating others can collect and complete the Self-Nomination/Nomination Form which is available at the Office of the Secretariat or can be made available by email by 7 April 2011. Please sign-in and submit the completed form along with a copy of the nominee’s CV to the Office of the Secretariat, Alakhiya Road-5, Birgunj or email to sanopaila@gmail.com .

B. A receipt obtained from the Office of the Finance Committee as evidence of nominee’s renewal of membership must also be submitted along with the nomination form.

C. Nominations submitted to the Office of the Secretariat, upon verifying their completeness and information, will be forwarded to the incumbent Executive Committee of Sano Paila. The Executive Committee, upon receipt of a certificate of acceptance of the Constitution of Sano Paila and such other documents as it may reasonably require, will table the nomination at the General Assembly 2011. The General Assembly 2011 will decide the appointment of the nominees.
